I had a Salesman tell me that I was getting into a PPO plan where I can see any doctor. I thought it was better than the ACA because it is PPO rather than HMO. I purchased it and then tried to use it. None of my Drs take it. It does not cover illnesses. It does not cover specialists. I called within the 30 days where they legally can give my money back(at least they say so now) and they said that my plan ends on the 24th of the month. I paid for another month of insurance for the week until my Obama care started on the first. They talk nicely on the phone when you can find a number that is working. Their main number stopped working today and I was scrambling on the phone to cancel. When I complained they say that they are sorry and then attempt to have me purchase another plan. It is a scam. Look on the BBB site. There are plenty of people posting similar things.

Similar situation: I was very clear what I wanted and when I asked for something in writing to reviewed, I was told I had to first give my payment information. When I asked more questions, I was told by the agent that wasted his time even though I told him what I wanted within the first minute of our phone call. He became hostile and hung up on me.

Health Enrollment Center is actually harassing me. They have called me about 14 to 30 times today and yesterday and the day before. Some guy named Will…there’s a few more … can’t get them to leave me alone…

This has been exceedingly helpful to read. It is now 2018 and I am being bombarded by the health registration center and the health enrollment center with offers of month-to-month plans who’s premium seem low but in each case they cannot send me anything in writing before I commit by giving them my credit card number. I know a scam when I hear one but reading here has been extra helpful. Thank you. now, if I could only figure out how to get these calls to stop!
