The tenth open enrollment season for the Affordable Care Act\u2019s marketplace is in full swing. With support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, CHIR has updated and improved our\u00a0Navigator Resource Guide<\/a> to help marketplace Navigators and others assisting consumers with marketplace eligibility and enrollment. The\u00a0Navigator Guide\u00a0is a practical, hands-on\u00a0resource\u00a0with over 300 frequently asked questions (FAQs)\u00a0on\u00a0topics such as marketplace eligibility, premium and cost-sharing assistance, comparing plan benefits and costs, and post-enrollment issues, including:<\/p>\n New features this year include:<\/p>\n The\u00a0Navigator Guide\u00a0also provides an \u201cAsk an Expert<\/a>\u201d option for Navigators and assisters\u00a0to\u00a0submit questions about\u00a0the\u00a0Affordable Care Act and\u00a0the\u00a0marketplaces, and continues to highlight resources<\/a> for diverse communities. Additionally, our state fact sheets<\/a> provide state-specific information on both private insurance and Medicaid\/Children\u2019s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) coverage.<\/p>\n\n
