This is one reason why Congress and states are considering or have enacted legislation to create a public health insurance option.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the generous support of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arnoldventures.org\/\">Arnold Ventures<\/a>, CHIR experts have launched a <a href=\"https:\/\/publicoption.chir.georgetown.edu\/\">new resource center<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emailmeform.com\/builder\/form\/c4V92hTNYIp6wC1od0Jb6A\">newsletter<\/a> to provide policymakers with a dedicated, independent source of unbiased and comprehensive information on public health insurance options and related proposals that promote affordability and contain costs. Leveraging our experience advising state and federal regulators on private health insurance regulation, our goal is to help policymakers protect consumers, promote affordability, and contain costs.<\/p>\n<p>Under this project, CHIR is offering:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/publicoption.chir.georgetown.edu\/find-resources\/\">Comprehensive Online Resources<\/a>. Our new online resource center will help educate federal and state policymakers, provide unbiased educational resources, and share up-to-date research on public health insurance options.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/publicoption.chir.georgetown.edu\/about\/support-for-policymakers\/\">Support for Policymakers<\/a>. We work directly with policymakers on issues related to public health insurance options, help analyze or testify on proposals, and leverage our network to share best practices across states and with federal officials.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.emailmeform.com\/builder\/form\/8nt368CuYkd\">Public Education<\/a>.
