They rarely to infrequently go to the doctor, so it’s worth it to not be insured.

Comment on Health Care Sharing Ministry Data Point to Problems for Consumers, Regulators by Kevin https://chirblog.org/health-care-sharing-ministry-data-point-to-problems-for-consumers-regulators/#comment-98957 Mon, 18 Dec 2023 06:30:00 +0000 https://chirblog.org/?p=7375#comment-98957 I dont know about the othes but Solidarity is an evil company. It’s a complete scam. They take your money and don’t cover anything.

Here’s an article about it:
https://www.pillarcatholic.com/p/solidarity-health-fails-federal-disclosure

Look up the facebook group “victims of Solidarity healthshare” for more testimonies.

My wife sent a message to the mom’s group in our church just to warn other families and within minutes she had multiple replies from other families with the same experience.

This is a truly evil organization. If you become a member, you will be directly supporting corrupt scam artists and worse, your family be in a terribly vulnerable position without aid in the event of a medical problem.

Please stay away and warn everyone you know to stay away as well.

Comment on State Health Equity Initiatives Confront Decades of Racism in the Insurance Industry by Ronnell Nolan https://chirblog.org/state-health-equity-initiatives-confront-decades-of-racism-in-the-insurance-industry/#comment-98375 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 20:08:53 +0000 https://chirblog.org/?p=7561#comment-98375 I read the CHIRblog article dated October 26, 2023, and I must express my concern about the reliance on the 2022 Kaiser Survey as the primary data source. It’s clear that this survey may not provide a comprehensive overview of the current situation, and therefore, the information in the article may not accurately represent the complete picture.

I am truly appalled by the inaccuracies present in this article. The importance of accurate and up-to-date data cannot be overstated, especially when discussing issues that affect such a diverse and dynamic population. It’s crucial that we base our analysis on the most recent and comprehensive information available.

I would like to extend an invitation to the authors of this article to connect with my membership. They work tirelessly to assist individuals from all walks of life, representing a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds. By collaborating with experts on the ground, we can gain a more nuanced and accurate understanding of the issues at hand.

Accurate data and a comprehensive perspective are vital when addressing complex topics, and I believe that by working together, we can contribute to a more informed and effective discussion. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Comment on Early Rate Filings Show Premium Increases, Rising Costs of Care by Jessica https://chirblog.org/early-rate-filings-show-premium-increases-rising-costs-of-care/#comment-97896 Wed, 27 Sep 2023 00:44:51 +0000 https://chirblog.org/?p=7356#comment-97896 The problem with this is that companies like Carefirst are raising insurance premiums and deductibles for members, but not raising rates for many specialities. Mental health providers are reimbursed at the same rate now as they were in 2018. This means that they have effectively taken a 20% pay cut with the COL increase. My practice is credentialed with Carefirst but providers can barely afford the premiums themselves.
